The term “partner” refers to a director of Birdi Group Limited or an employee or consultant with equivalent standing and qualifications or to an individual with equivalent status in Birdi Group Limited. A list of directors of Birdi Group Limited and of non-directors who are designated as partners and their professional qualifications is open to inspection at its registered office at 18th and 19th Floors, 100 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AG.

When we refer to “offices” we mean the offices of Birdi Group Limited.

Birdi Group Limited is a limited company registered in England and Wales (with registration number 17031717). It is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) (with register number 8015231).

Birdi Group Limited is listed on the Financial Conduct Authority Register as an Exempt Professional Firm, able to carry out certain insurance mediation activities (also regulated by the SRA).

Lawyers based in the United Kingdom who are admitted as solicitors in England and Wales are regulated by the SRA.

In common with other professional service firms, from time-to-time Birdi’s name (or the names of its individual employees or solicitors) may be used by fraudsters in scam emails and letters to add credibility to the fraudulent communication. If you have received a communication purportedly from this firm and you are unsure of its authenticity, please do contact us using the details on our website (not the purported fraudulent communication) as soon as possible.

If you receive an email that appears to come from us which indicates a change of bank details it is unlikely to be genuine. Our bank account details WILL NOT change during the course of a transaction and we WILL NOT notify you of bank details in the body of an email. If you are ever unsure about the validity of account details provided you are advised to verify the details before you transfer any monies to us. Do not reply to an email appearing to come from us advising of a change to bank details or act on any information contained within the email. Please contact us immediately if this happens. We accept no responsibility for monies transferred into an incorrect account.

Birdi maintains professional indemnity insurance in accordance with the rules of the SRA. Details of the insurers and the territorial coverage of the policy are available for inspection at our offices.
